Piggy Bank Math
After learning about all the coins and their value I created these Piggy Banks to practice adding different sums of money. There are four quarters, ten dimes, ten nickels, and twenty pennies. I also made baggies of various amounts of money, all less than a dollar. The students have to select an amount of money then using the coins provided show that same amount of money. This was created to provide extra practice to the students with counting coins. Their goal is show the amount using the least amount of coins. The students work with a partner to check their work. This has also become a favorite activity in the room. The only problem is the glue isn't sticking real well, does anyone have any suggestions?
