Human Clock

We have been talking about telling time. To practice this skill we made a human clock. I printed off the numbers 1-12. Students took turns holding the numbers on the clock. Two students were the clock hands, the minute hand layed and placed their hands above their head and the hour hand layed with their hands down at their side. Two additional students called out the times, one student was in charge of the hour and the other in charge of the minutes. Any additional students took turns writing the time in digital notation on their white boards. We took turns with each of the roles. The students really enjoyed this activity.
